Copy-paste prompt
For the keyword [keyword], search it and read the top 5 results. List the questions they all answer, and the gaps that none of them cover well. Suggest an angle we can own using [our data/experience]. Write an H2/H3 outline, a title of under 60 characters, a meta description of under 155 characters, and 3 to 5 internal links from [sitemap URL]. Link to the sources.
Fill in everything in [square brackets]. Put your approval rules (see the free operator's charter) above it.
What you need
- Browser for search results
- Your site's page list (sitemap)
How the agent does it
- Search the keyword; read the top 5 ranking pages.
- List the subtopics and questions they all cover, and the gaps none cover well.
- Pick an angle you can own (data, experience, tool).
- Outline H2s and H3s, suggest a title and meta description, and choose 3-5 internal links from your sitemap.
What you get
A one-page brief (angle, outline, questions, title, meta, internal links, sources).
| Schedule | On demand, or weekly for the next 3 keywords on your list. |
|---|---|
| Needs your approval | Publishing needs approval. |
| How to check it worked | Every 'gap' is checked against all 5 results; internal links exist in the sitemap. |
Common mistakes
- Copying competitor structure word-for-word. Briefs describe, not duplicate.
Setting it up in each agent
In Grok Bot
Ask the Bot to run the prompt once and review the result. Then say "Save the process we just used as a skill called 'SEO content briefs from real search results'" and "Create a routine that runs the SEO content briefs from real search results skill on demand, or weekly for the next 3 keywords on your list". Grok Bot's docs say a Bot can own up to 50 routines, schedules must be at least five minutes apart, and you should use Test run before you enable one.
In Meta Muse
Paste the prompt into Muse and ask it to remember the job and run it on the schedule. Muse asks for approval before outbound actions and purchases, so keep the 'don't send' line in the prompt. Before you rely on it, check that Muse can reach the apps this recipe needs.
In ChatGPT Dots
Give your dot the prompt as an ongoing goal and set the schedule. Dots can work between chats and ask for approval before sensitive actions. OpenAI says background work counts toward your plan's allowance, so match the frequency to what you actually need.
Run it by hand once with harmless inputs before you schedule it. A test run does real work.
