Listing title and tag refresh (Etsy, Shopify, Amazon)

The agent finds your listings with views but no sales, researches the search terms and drafts better titles, tags and first lines.

Copy-paste prompt

Every Wednesday, take the 10 listings in [export] with the most views but the lowest sales. For each, search [Etsy / Shopify / Amazon] for its main keyword and see what top sellers put in their titles and tags. Draft a new title, tags and first sentence that lead with the buyer's search words, keeping within the platform's limits. Log the before and after in [sheet]. Don't edit any live listings.

Fill in everything in [square brackets]. Put your approval rules (see the free operator's charter) above it.

What you need

How the agent does it

  1. Pick listings with high views and low conversion, or high impressions and low clicks.
  2. Search the marketplace for the main keyword; note what top results use in titles and tags.
  3. Draft a new title (front-load the buyer's words), 13 tags (Etsy) or keywords, and a stronger first line.
  4. Keep a before/after log so results can be compared in 30 days.

What you get

A before/after table per listing, with a reason for each change.

ScheduleWeekly, 10 listings at a time.
Needs your approvalEditing live listings needs approval. Apply changes in small batches.
How to check it workedNo keyword stuffing; titles stay within platform limits (Etsy 140 chars).

Setting it up in each agent

In Grok Bot

Ask the Bot to run the prompt once and review the result. Then say "Save the process we just used as a skill called 'Listing title and tag refresh (Etsy, Shopify, Amazon)'" and "Create a routine that runs the Listing title and tag refresh (Etsy, Shopify, Amazon) skill weekly, 10 listings at a time". Grok Bot's docs say a Bot can own up to 50 routines, schedules must be at least five minutes apart, and you should use Test run before you enable one.

In Meta Muse

Paste the prompt into Muse and ask it to remember the job and run it on the schedule. Muse asks for approval before outbound actions and purchases, so keep the 'don't send' line in the prompt. Before you rely on it, check that Muse can reach the apps this recipe needs.

In ChatGPT Dots

Give your dot the prompt as an ongoing goal and set the schedule. Dots can work between chats and ask for approval before sensitive actions. OpenAI says background work counts toward your plan's allowance, so match the frequency to what you actually need.

Run it by hand once with harmless inputs before you schedule it. A test run does real work.
